The idea behind the drink
A cortado keeps espresso close while a small pour of milk softens its sharp edges. The balance is intimate: bold coffee, gentle texture, and little to distract from either.

Makes one 4 fl oz drink
Ingredients
- Espresso
- 2 shots
- Whole Milk
- 2 fl oz
How to make it
Pull the espresso shots.
Pour espresso into a cup.
Steam the milk until hot and silky. Pour it over the espresso and serve.
